Overview

As part of the Planning team, you’ll support the development of media strategies and campaign plans that align with our clients’ business goals. Working alongside account managers & other planners, you’ll contribute to strategic thinking by helping gather insights, inform media and channel recommendations, and define audiences and KPIs based on consumer behaviour, media trends, and platform capabilities.

You’ll collaborate closely with internal activation teams, external partners, and clients to help ensure our media plans are insight-driven and aligned with best practice. You’ll be responsible for coordinating elements of campaign planning and delivery, with the opportunity to take ownership of specific projects or workstreams over time. This is a great role for someone looking to grow into a strategic planning position while building strong, cross-functional experience across multichannel campaigns.

Responsibilities

The role combines skills found in digital planning and comms planning, with key areas of focus & responsibility being:

  • Effectively leading the management of active workstreams for campaigns across the UK & EMEA for Lenovo & Motorola
  • Building strong relationships and being the go-to person for the client.
  • Support media plan development, including cross-channel planning with the support of relevant specialist teams.
  • Solid understanding of benchmarking, testing initiatives and trading agreements, with the ability of incorporating these into planning.
  • Ensuring reports are delivered on time and to a high standard of accuracy and insight.
  • Supporting in the development of thought leadership and innovation.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate for this role would likely possess a combination of the following skills:

 

Planning Knowledge Strong digital knowledge and experience in the German media landscape, specifically around digital media planning.

Communication Skills: Able to clearly share ideas with both team members and clients, especially when discussing strategies and campaign performance.

Excellent Organizational Skills: Can manage multiple campaigns and deadlines to keep projects on track and launch activity on time.

Analytical Thinking: Comfortable working with data and drawing insights that guide decision-making.

Attention to Detail: Handles budgets, timelines, and other parameters with accuracy and care.

Collaborative: Works well with internal teams and external partners, supporting a positive team environment.

Passionate about Media and Marketing: Genuinely interested in the field and eager to stay updated on trends to keep work innovative and engaging.
